The CLC Care Ministry has a vision: A committed body of Christ in the bond of love enjoying God's presence "with all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing one another in love; endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." (Ephesians 4:2-3) It is this vision that causes us to strive to be the most loving and hospitable, the most sensitive and effective, and the most caring and encouraging body of believers.

What is Care Ministry?  It is a phone call from out of the blue, or a card in the mailbox from someone just letting you know that she is thinking of you.  It is a cup of coffee with someone who has a wise heart and a listening ear willing to empathize with a spiritual struggle.  It is a gathering of mature Christians and newborn babes in Christ enjoying great food and one another's company in an honest and relaxed setting.  It is a mobile force ready to take up the needs of those who have lost loved ones, undergone surgery or experienced difficult tragedy, providing food, consolation, transportation and any other need as it may arise.

The Care Ministry of CLC serves to connect each member in the local church body. The goal is to foster a small church atmosphere in a large church setting. The church body is broken down into Care Groups with a Care Leader assigned to serve them and be the conduit between the members in the group and the leadership of the church. Reaching out, loving and making sure all needs in the group are being addressed is the objective of each leader.  We don't want anyone to feel left out or forgotten.
